Meet the newest rising star of
Knight Bullmastiffs:
Best in Sweeps/BISS/AM/Can. CH IRONBULL KNIGHTS
SILVERSLUGGER. CGC, TDI, RN, AOM, Penn Hip.
Slugger has received 4 prestigious AWARD OF MERIT Medals at 4 very large Bullmastiff shows. He received his first AOM at the Southwest Bullmastiff Assoc. His second was given at the South East Bullmastiff Assoc. Specialty and his third to date, and most important, was at the largest gathering of Bullmastiff Champions ~ THE AMERICAN BULLMASTIFF ASSOC. SPECIALTY. There were over 100 Bullmastiff champions competing for Best of Breed and only a very few dogs who excelled at breed type and movement were awarded an AOM. Slugger was one of the dogs chosen to best exemplify the Bullmastiff both in movement, type and temperament at this very competitive show. Slugger received his 4th AOM at the Midwest Bullmastiff Assoc. Specialty. Slugger has now also became a Best in Specialty Show winner. He won Best in Specialty at the Ontario Regional Specialty over very tough competition..
SLUGGER'S HEALTH CLEARANCES TO DATE HAVE BEEN:
HIPS CERTIFIED BY PENN HIP , HEART - OFA CERTIFIED BY VETERINARIAN CARDIOLOGIST,
AND EYES BY CERF (CANINE EYE REGISTRATION FOUNDATION).
The next boy you will meet is my Hunter. Hunter's
full name is: AKC & International Champion Shadow
Knight Dox Hunter Moon. Hunter is a top of the standard brindle
male who was imported from Canada as a puppy. Hunter, born
11/8/98, was my first Bully and even now is still the biggest baby in the
house. Hunter loved going to the shows to meet people, sit
in their laps and be petted. He could care less about being in the
ring; he would rather be on the outside laying on his back having his belly
rubbed by all the kids.
...And then we have "Killian" (registered name: Knight's Killians Irish Red). Killian is out of my Hunter; he was born in December 2001. Killian loved showing, and thought the show was being held for him, and him alone. When he arrived at the show he can't wait to go into the ring, and ham it up! Killian needed only 1 major to become an AKC Champion, but Killian was not something we needed in our breeding program, so in his best interest he was placed as a companion dog into a new home. (Killian now lives in Crown Point, Indiana with his new family. Killian is enjoying his new life as family pet and much loved companion. His days are now spent between lounging on the living room couch and traveling with his new owners and their son Chris while he goes on his dirt bike racing circuit.)
